Sydeney ( Australia)

2nd August 2020.
Dear Muneer,
After leaving Karachi R plane reached the Colombo. we had breakfast at a lovely seaside hotel and then took off to Singapore arriving there in the evening on Tuesday. Leaving Singapore next morning we set foot about 10 p.m. at Darwin  in the north of Australia, the only continent which is entirely situated in the southern hemisphere.
while Pakistan was freezing in the cold wave this place was experiencing the height of summer. you when at that time of the evening the water in the tabs was heart and the residents of the hotel will be stopped for dinner was trying to keep themselves cool by swimming in the pool.
Australia has an area of 3 million square miles it is bigger than Europe and twice the size of Indo Pakistan subcontinent. It is is very hot in the north and centre and can be quite cold in the south. being The last Continent to inhabited by the civilized man it has a population of only about 9000000 people most of home are concentrated in the south eastern and South Western regions. apart from these regions and the tropical forests in the north the rest of the continent is a vast desert with alone exceeds the size of India and Pakistan put together. Australia was first occupied in sixth different states by migrants from England and some other European countries but became one country in early 20th century. it has a parliamentary type of government on the British pattern headed by a Governor General representing the queen of England. Taking into consideration its meagre population the country is remarkably well developed and is already exporting wheat, wool, woolen goods, gold and Coral weather countries.
We laughed Darwin at about midnight and reach the Sydney on the Pacific coast of Australia early in the morning. this is the largest and the oldest city of this continent and is situated on the two sides of narrow strip of sea going deep into the land. the two parts of the city are connected by the harbour bridge which has become famous opportunity of visiting this hollyland early and many times in your life.
Hoping to be with you soon.
I’m your affectionate father Ali
